Bamboo Shell with Sesame Paste

Bamboo Shell with Sesame Paste

300g bamboo shell (rinsed, drained)
3 stalks spring onion (diced)
50g celery (diced)
30g chopped garlic
20g chopped ginger
50ml water

1/2 tbsp hot bean paste
2 tbsp sesame paste
1 tbsp salted bean paste
1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp monosodium glutamate
1/4 tsp salt

1. Heat up 3 tbsp oil to saute chopped garlic and ginger till fragrant, add in hot bean paste, sesame paste and salted bean paste. Stir-fry briskly until well mixed.

2. Place in bamboo shells, toss well. Next, add in water and the rest of the seasoning, bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 1 min.

3. Lastly, add in chopped celery and spring onions, stir-fry briskly until the gravy is slightly absorbed. Dish up and serve hot.
