Dong Bo Meaty Spare Rib
Ingredients
1 stick meaty spare rib (abt 500g), cut into pieces
1 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tsp corn flour,
1 stalk spring onion
1 stalk coriander leaf
1000ml water
Spices
3 cm cinnamon stick
2 star anises,
1 nutmeg
Seasonings
3 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp shaoxing wine (or hua tiao wine)
Method
1. Mix spare ribs with light soya sauce and corn flour. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Dish and drain.
2. Bring all ingredients, sprices and seasoning to boil. Lower the heat, cook for 40 mins, until spare rib is tender. Dish up and serve.
