Fried Spare Rib & Radish Soup

Fried Spare Rib & Radish Soup

600g spare rib, cut into small pieces
5 cloves of garlic
2,500ml of water
200g radish, peeled and cut into chunks
200g yam, peeled, cut into chunks

1 tbsp light soya
1 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of five spice powder
1 tsp hua tiao wine
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp corn flour

1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp five spice powder
1 tbsp hua tiao wine
1 tsp of pepper

2 stalk of coriander leaves

1. Mix spare rib with marinade and marinate for 2 hours. Deep fry into hot oil until golden brown. Dish and drain.

2. Deep fry garlic until golden brown, dish and drain.

3. Bring water to boil, add in all ingredient (except yam) and bring to boil. Lower the heat and cook for 1 hour. add in yam and cook for another 15 mins or until soft. Lastly add in seasoning.

4. Add in coriander leaves and serve hot.
